The Arrow Dealerships were founding contributors in the creation of Frontier Texas! in historic downtown Abilene. As an important part of Arrow’s community efforts to improve both the quality of life of its citizens and promote continued economic development, the Arrow Dealerships funded the creation of the facility’s Frontier Gallery. Since its opening, Frontier Texas! has served over 150,000 visitors from all 50 states and over 80 foreign countries. Arrow Dealerships is proud of the part it played in Frontier Texas! opening in April of 2004. Frontier Gallery
This gallery for temporary, changeable exhibits has 400 sq. ft. of display space and is used for exhibits that enhance the visitor experience in Frontier Texas!. The opening exhibit featured a photographic journey through the evolution of the site from junkyard to the present facility and “behind the scenes” photos of the development of the audiovisuals and exhibits in the historical experience. The gallery has new exhibits quarterly and currently has “Sacred Symbols, Sacred Places: Texas Indian Art & Historic Sites,” from September 28 through November 19, 2007. Coming soon in the future there will be a holiday-inspired exhibit to finish off the 2007 year. |
