Basic Scheduled Maintenance - Chrylser and Jeep

BASIC SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE

Routine Maintenance use to be very cut and dry, but in today’s high tech world it is not that simple. The manufacturer changes their Maintenance requirement based on the advancement in their product. Your warranty manual has your specific recommended Maintenance schedule. Below is a generic Maintenance schedule which we follow at the Arrow Dealerships. This guide in conjunction with your warranty manual and driving habits allows our service teams to help you Maintain your vehicle in peak running condition.

EVERY 5 MONTHS OR 5,000 MILES

• Change engine oil and filter
• Perform multi-point inspection
• Rotate tires for optimal tire life
• Inspect disc brake rotors and linings
• Inspect air filter

IN ADDITION, EVERY 30,000 MILES

• Perform standard 3,000 mile service
• Perform Engine Tune-Up (i.e. check PCV valve, check emissions components, replace non-platinum spark plug)
• Service Front and Rear Differentials (Jeep Only)
• Service Transfer Case (Jeep w/ 4X4 ONLY)

IN ADDITION, EVERY 60,000 MILES

• Perform 30,000 Mile Service
• Change automatic transmission/ transaxle fluid and filter
• Flush and Replace Engine Coolant
