Professional Sales Consultant Job Descriptions and Responsibilities
- Treat customers and fellow employees as you would want to be treated.
- Set, maintain, and improve a sales rate of new and used vehicles at a minimum sales rate of ten units per month.
- Establish and maintain a prospect development system in order to achieve and improve the sales rate.
- Maintain a prospect follow-up program to ensure walk-in prospects will be treated in accordance with dealership policies.
- Follow a sales procedure in accordance with dealership policies.
- Provide proper delivery of the vehicle to the customer.
- Maintain an owner follow-up procedure to produce satisfied customers and to encourage referrals and repeat sales.
- Provide feedback to Sales Manager in all areas, including but not limited to: inventory, sale-ability and availability, advertising effectiveness, appraisals, etc.
- Ensure that all customer information is accurate, current, and secured.
- Know all current products sold as well as the competition’s products.
- Support all departments in the Dealership and ensure that all customer satisfaction policies are followed.
